UKOP Online is the complete catalogue of British Official Publications from 1980 to the present, and plays an essential part in the maintenance of a national bibliography of official publishing and in enabling public access to published documents.
UKOP Online is created in co-operation between Chadwyck-Healey Ltd and The Stationery Office, and comprises detailed bibliographic and ordering information on:
These can be searched in combination or separately.
The full text of the non Stationery Office documents catalogued in UKOP can be ordered directly from the relevant organisations or departments or from Chadwyck-Healey on microfiche. For those documents which are available in electronic format, a direct link provides instant access to the full text. A subscription to UKOP Online provides the quickest and easiest way to identify the documents you need without having to search through a range of publication lists from over 500 organisations.
UKOP Online is cumulative, and is updated monthly.
Details of Stationery Office publications are provided by the Bibliographics Unit of The Stationery Office. They include both Parliamentary and non-Parliamentary material as well as Statutory Instruments. Approximately 9,000 publications are added each year.
Including publications from over 500 bodies ranging from Departments of State to quangos and ombudsmen, collected and catalogued by Chadwyck-Healey with the assistance of Her Majesty's Stationery Office. Non-Stationery Office bibliographic records include detailed information on the source address of the original publication. Approximately 16,000 publications are added each year.
These include the publications of British, European and international organisations for whom The Stationery Office acts as agent. Approximately 4,000 publications are added each year.
